Ryan Gosling (Drive) stars alongside the original blade runner, Harrison Ford in Denis Villeneuve’s (Sicario, Arrival) breathlessly awaited return to the moody dystopia of Ridley Scott’s celebrated 1982 original. In a future where the Earth’s very atmosphere has become toxic, Officer K (Gosling), a new blade runner for the LAPD, unearths a long-buried secret with the potential to plunge the remains of society into chaos. The discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Ford), who’s been missing for 30 years. Scored by Villeneuve’s frequent collaborator, Icelandic composer Jóhann Jóhannsson and exquisitely photographed by Roger Deakins, it promises to be the unmissable cinema event of 2017.
