Cast: Kenneth Branagh, Judi Dench, Michelle Pfeiffer, Daisy Ridley, Johnny Depp, Penélope Cruz, Leslie Odom Jr., Willem Dafoe, Derek Jacobi, Olivia Colman
Kenneth Branagh directs this fabulously entertaining and suspenseful version of one of Agatha Christie’s most famous Poirot novels, with an exceptional cast including himself (as everyone’s favourite lavishly moustachioed Belgian detective), Judi Dench, Daisy Ridley, Willem Dafoe, Johnny Depp and Penélope Cruz. A luxurious train ride through a wintry Europe quickly becomes the scene of a shocking murder and its investigation. Everyone on board is a suspect when Detective Hercule Poirot arrives to interrogate the passengers – an international group, with among them a count, a doctor, a princess, a maid and a missionary – and search for clues before the killer strikes again.
