In The Eagle Huntress, a Mongolian girl sets out to prove her elders wrong. Via breathtaking aerial cinematography and intimate vérité footage, this fascinating, inspiring and very moving documentary follows Aisholpan, a 13-year-old nomadic Mongolian girl who dreams of becoming the first female eagle hunter in twelve generations of her Kazakh family: a role traditionally reserved only for men.
