Award-winning actress Claire Foy (The Crown) takes over the role of hacker Lisbeth Salander in this icy, propulsive thriller adapting the fourth book in Stieg Larsson’s acclaimed Millennium series. Fired from the National Security Agency, Frans Balder (Stephen Merchant) recruits Lisbeth to steal a programme that can access codes for nuclear weapons worldwide. But the download draws attention from an NSA agent, who traces the activity to Stockholm, and when Russian thugs steal Lisbeth’s laptop and kidnap a computer whiz kid to manipulate FireWall on their behalf, she and an unlikely ally are forced into a race against time to avert disaster.
