Newcomer Gal Gadot is Wonder Woman in the blazing, hotly-tipped reboot from Monster director Patty Jenkins that tells the origin story of the all-American heroine. Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, Diana meets an American pilot (Chris Pine) who explains to her that there is a massive conflict raging in the outside world: World War I. Convinced she can stop it, Diana leaves home and, fighting alongside men in a war to end all wars, finally discovers her full powers and true destiny.
