Oscar-nominated filmmaker Matthew Heineman’s pulse-pounding narrative feature debut stars a terrific Rosamund Pike as journalist Marie Colvin, one of the most extraordinary war correspondents of our time. An intelligent, sophisticated and psychologically perceptive film, it depicts Colvin as a fearless, rebellious spirit, driven to the front lines of conflicts across the globe to give voice to the voiceless. Sacrificing love and safety for her work, over time the cumulative trauma she has witnessed begins to take its toll. Nevertheless she finds herself, along with war photographer Paul Conroy (Jamie Dornan), embarking on the most dangerous assignment of her life in the besieged Syrian city of Homs.
