Years ago, astronaut Roy McBride’s (Brad Pitt) father (Tommy Lee Jones) was lost while on a mission in space. Now, Roy’s heading ‘Ad Astra’ – to the stars – to the outer edges of the solar system to find his missing father and unravel a mystery that threatens the survival of our planet. It’s the biggest and riskiest journey of his life, but he needs to know what happened and why. Why did his father disappear, and why did his mission go so wrong? His journey will uncover secrets that challenge the nature of human existence and our place in the cosmos.
