Elle Fanning lends her voice to this spirited animation about a young girl following her dreams. In 1879, orphan Félicie hopes to become a ballerina, but lacks any formal training. Leaving rural Brittany for Paris, she assumes the identity of a spoiled rich girl to become a dance student at the Paris Opera, but hasn’t reckoned with the harshness of her training and the difficulty of making friends amongst her ruthless fellowstudents. But – meeting a mysterious caretaker at the Paris Opera, Odette, and a young inventor, Victor – she finds the help she needs to face up to her challenges.
