This wonderfully imaginative sci-fi animation follows Mike Goldwing, a plucky 12-year old who’s the son and grandson of NASA astronauts. His grandfather Frank lives in isolation, saddened by missing out on his chance to fly on the Apollo XI mission. But when an eccentric billionaire hatches an evil plan to fly to the moon, steal its mineral resources and destroy the American flag famously left by Apollo XI, Mike needs Frank (as well as his friends Amy and Marty, and a clever chameleon) to stow away with him on the space shuttle; blasting off to the moon to capture the flag and reunite his family.
