Oscar winner Brie Larson, Armie Hammer and Cillian Murphy star in British director Ben Wheatley’s (Kill List, High Rise) high-octane thriller Free Fire, executive-produced by Martin Scorsese. Set in 1970s Boston and full of Americana period detail, it sees Justine (Larson) broker a gun deal on behalf of two Irishmen (Cillian Murphy, Michael Smiley) with gangsters Vernon (Sharlto Copley) and Ord (Armie Hammer); but they find their best-laid plans soon derail into violence. Bloody, sweaty and whip smart, Free Fire is a thrilling ride, another brilliantly made film by one of the UK’s most exciting and accomplished directors.
