Oscar-winner Tom Hanks gives one of his most effortlessly charming performances in Penny Marshall’s 1988 comedy classic, Big. Desperate to grow up, 12-year-old Josh Baskin (David Moscow) is nevertheless unprepared when he gets his wish and becomes a 30-year-old man (Hanks) overnight. Heading to New York and getting a job at MacMillen Toy Company, a chance encounter with the owner (Robert Loggia) leads to a promotion. Soon a fellow employee, Susan Lawrence (Elizabeth Perkins), starts falling for Josh. But as the pressures of adult life begin to overwhelm him, he dreams of a return to his simple, former life as a boy. The screening will include FREE refreshments relevant to the film.
