Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson leads the way in Jake Kasdan’s sequel to the beloved 1995 Jumanji starring the late Robin Williams. Twenty years after the events of the first film, the infamous board game has evolved into video. While cleaning out a school’s basement serving detention, four high school kids discover an old game console and are drawn into the game’s jungle setting, literally becoming the adult avatars they chose. What they discover is that you don’t just play Jumanji – you must survive it, and to beat the game and return to the real world, they’ll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives; and discover something Alan Parrish left behind all those years ago.
