From Studio Ghibli’s Hiromasa Yonebayashi (When Marnie Was There, Arrietty) comes this dazzling animation adventure about a young girl, Mary (Ruby Barnhill) who makes a magical discovery; based on Mary Stewart’s 1971 classic children’s book. Stuck in the country with her great-aunt, Mary follows a cat into the forest where she discovers an old broomstick and a strange flower. Together they whisk her away to Endor College, a school of magic run by headmistress Madam Mumblechook (Kate Winslet) and the brilliant Doctor Dee (Jim Broadbent). Mary quickly realises that terrible things happening at the school – and that it’s up to her to set them right.
