Everyone’s favourite Finnish cartoon creatures, the endearing Moomins, find themselves on the big screen in this utterly delightful film. It’s been a long, hot summer in the Moominvalley, and all the creatures are getting bored of the unchanging weather – until a volcanic eruption causes a major flood. Luckily the Moomins are rescued by what seems to be a floating abandoned house, but, it turns out, this is no house… Occupied by feisty Emma, the building is actually a theatre full of costumes and props; and soon the family is engrossed in creating their own play, the first ever Moomin production. Enchanting!
