Produced by Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings) and based on Philip Reeve’s bestselling sci-fi novel, dazzling fantasy Mortal Engines sets its breath-taking scene in a post-apocalyptic, dystopian future on an unstable planet. Hundreds of years after civilisation was destroyed by a cataclysmic event, a mysterious, feral young woman, Hester Shaw (Hera Hilmar), emerges as the only one who can stop London – now a giant, predatory city on wheels – from devouring everything in its path. Driven by the memory of her mother, Hester is joined on her quest by outcast Tom (Robert Sheehan) and outlaw Anna (Jihae).
