Felicity Jones gives an outstanding performance in Mimi Leder’s biopic of trailblazing US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a feminist icon for the modern age. The smart screenplay (written by Bader Ginsburg’s nephew) follows her at the start of her career, as a struggling attorney and new mother facing unusual adversity in her fight for equal rights. But when she takes on a ground-breaking tax case with her husband, attorney Martin Ginsburg (Armie Hammer), she knows it will change the direction and scale of both her own, pioneering career and the lives of American women for generations to come.
The screening on Thurs 21st March will be shown with subtitles projected onto the screen for the hearing impaired, and these are signified by the symbol S/T on the website and in our monthly brochure. Please note all other screenings of these films are without subtitles.
