A tender and imaginative children’s film, Paper Planes follows Dylan, a young Australian boy, his passion for flight, and his challenge to compete in the World Paper Plane Championships in Japan. Still grieving the loss of his mother in a tragic car accident, he faces hostility from his father (Sam Worthington), with whom he lives in a rundown shack in remote, backcountry Australia, he must also deal with a cruel school bully. But ever inventive, Dylan focuses on his unique talent for all things aviation, which will take him all the way to Tokyo. A heart-warming and very uplifting story.
