The first of our three films voted for by the Picture House audience, Tarantino’s hugely influential crime masterpiece won the Cannes Palmes d’Or back in 1994, and is often cited as the best American film of that decade. The film presents three interweaving stories that revolve around a gangster’s wife (Thurman), a washed-up boxer (Willis), two hit-men (Travolta and Jackson) and a much sought after briefcase…Featuring a fantastic, influential soundtrack, career-best performances and some of the most quotable dialogue ever written, this is a rare opportunity to enjoy a modern classic on the big screen (and worth seeing again for the much-imitated dance scene alone!).
