Horror master Vincent Price (House of Wax, House of Usher) stars in William Castle’s (House on Haunted Hill) camp cult classic, The Tingler as a pathologist who makes a surprising discovery during his grisly autopsies: that the spine-chilling sensation people get when scared is due to a parasite attached to the human spine that he dubs the “tingler”; and that it can damage a person’s spine, even kill them, if they cannot scream to stop it in its tracks. Then, his theory is used in a murder to deadly effect.
