Thomas Vinterberg, legendary director of the award-winning Festen, is back on top form with this thrilling psychological drama. Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale) plays Lucas, a humble teacher at a small town kindergarten who is just getting back on his feet following a difficult divorce and separation from his son. His life is thrown into turmoil when his best friend’s daughter, five-year-old Klara, makes an allegation of sexual abuse against him, the effects of which shake the community and turns Lucas’ life upside down.

‘It is rare that a film can make you laugh, cry and shake with fury all at the same time; even rarer when it does so for the right reasons.’ – Robbie Collin, The Telegraph *****
