“America is teaming up with Russia – things could get a little messy.” Guy Ritchie’s (Sherlock Holmes) take on the popular 1960s TV series is a witty, sexy Cold War caper that sees CIA agent Napoleon Solo (Henry Cavill) working with KGB agent Illya Kuryakin (Armie Hammer) to stop a mysterious criminal organisation from destabilising the fragile balance of power. The duo’s only lead is the daughter of a missing German scientist, whom they must find to prevent global catastrophe… Also starring Hugh Grant and Alicia Vikander, Ritchie’s latest is great fun – full of fabulous action set pieces and nostalgic culture clashes.
