Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen star in Taylor Sheridan’s icy, piercing and highly acclaimed thriller set in the remote vastness of Wyoming. In the state’s Wind River Indian Reservation, a young woman is found dead. FBI agent Jane Banner (Olsen) is despatched to investigate, aided by federal wildlife officer Cory Lambert (Renner), whose family previously suffered a similar crime. Taking cues from the wintry landscape, they make some gut-wrenching discoveries in the course of an investigation that builds to a shocking climax; exploding their sense of the wider injustices suffered by Native Americans not just in Wyoming, but across the land.

“Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen team up in smartly chilly thriller” **** Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian
