Cast: David Tennant, Lucy Punch, Faye Marsay, Simon Bird, Sally Phillips

Lucy Punch stars alongside David Tennant in this savvy, salty comedy from first-time British director Daisy Atkins. She’s Olivia, a 39-year-old barrister in a lesbian relationship with 20-something aspiring artist Alex (Faye Marsay). Despite their differences, they’re deeply in love – but when Olivia decides to get artificially inseminated, it puts a strain on their happiness. And that’s before Alex has a drunken encounter with their ‘alpha male’ neighbour John (Tennant), and finds she’s become pregnant, too… What ensues is a very funny but also emotionally complex film, with likeable comic turns from British stars including Sally Phillips, Gemma Jones and David Warner.
